One mistake cost weeks of food for our family

It was a morning like most weekend mornings. I slept in because Daddy was home and he was taking care of things. I got up and took my daily dose of coffee, got squeezes from my babies and headed out to work after catching up on the latest Vlogs from our favorite YouTubers. I eventually headed out to the greenhouse to harvest some lemon balm from my plant because I had found some really useful info regarding medicinal uses of lemon balm in the book, The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies. I've always struggled with plant identification and wanted something to help me with my foraging skills, so when I came across this book advertised on Facebook I couldn't pass it up. Once in the greenhouse, I discovered all my cold hearty plants were doing great as usual. However, tragedy had struck my squash, tomatoes, and peppers. We had a deep freeze through the night and my summer crops, didn't fare very well. See what happened here.
